1. Shingle Creek Golf Club
Fresh off of a 2016 renovation by Arnold Palmer Design’s Thad Layton, Shingle Creek is very flat, but memorable for an accessible course. Lots of water in play, swing easy and hit ’em down the middle on this one. Vista Cay Resort is right across the street FYI for quality lodging and amenities.

2. Southern Dunes
Good elevation changes and topography here compared to other local courses. Lofted greens, gaping bunkers, bring all of your wedges to the party. Tavern on the Dunes has some good grub, and the bar cart is usually seen frequently.

3. Orange County National - Panther Lake
Great golf, lots of natural beauty, and an expansive in-the-round driving facility. Rolling meadows, towering pines and wetlands adorn your 18 hole route. Treat yourself to a post-play cocktail in charming downtown Winter Garden after your round.

4. Ritz Carlton - Grande Lakes Golf Club
Plenty of sandy waste areas and impressive bunkering on this track if you’re a fan, get ready to carry those drives off several tees. Also note that water features are present on 16 of the holes, so wear your big boy pants to Grande Lakes and enjoy this high profile Orlando course.

5. Reunion - Palmer Course
Home to 3 amazing golf courses, the Reunion resort will not disappoint, regardless of the course you get on. The Palmer course is the most highly decorated, enjoy plenty of fun risk-reward golf on this hilly and well manicured course.

6. Falcon’s Fire Golf Club
This Kissimmee Rees Jones gem has water in play on most holes, and strings of manicured bunkers. The clubhouse has a solid menu and nice pro shop, book a full day at this must-play Orlando area championship course.

7. Champions Gate Golf Club - International
Greg Norman designed, and plenty of natural Florida habitat. Wide open, wind swept with plenty of wetlands. British Isles links style golf with a few alligators sprinkled in for flavor, enjoy!

8. Waldorf Astoria Golf Club
Designed by Rees Jones, the Waldorf Astoria is a frequent Florida Top Course accolade recipient. Water hazards and natural beauty abound at this Orlando Gem. Reminder to leave your tank tops and jean shorts back at the vacation rental.
